Friday of the 3rd Week of Easter, 27 April 2012

Click here to download and listen to this homily (10 minutes) given by Fr Thomas Weise at St Catherine of Siena parish in Petersburg, Alaska. Saul meets Jesus, whom he is persecuting in the early Christians, on the road to Damascus and is converted. Jesus' language gets the strongest yet in John 6, "Amen, Amen, I say to you, unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man and drink his Blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my Flesh is true food, and my Blood true drink."

Readings: Acts 9:1-20; Psalm 117; John 6:52-59
